Default platinum revo questions.

is it good? it need a radio and a starter box right? planning to buy one! the measurements are like the same as 1/8 trucks

yes, it needs a radio and starter box, and that box is ideal. you can also mod a regular box to work, but IMHO its too much work.

Thats a pretty cool starter box, I havent seen that one before. if your looking to save a little on the box, check out traxxas's web site and they have a "How to" on making a normal starter box work with a Revo.

Oh, it's utter junk, don't buy one.


It is the best MT if you plan on racing and yes you'll need a starter box and radio.

You'll have a lot of fun with the Revo, you can bash or race with it

The platinum does need both a radio system and a starter box, the one use linked will work or check out the revo starter box from RD logics it works really good, a little more money but worth it.

I LOVE my Platinum and the best thing, it is pretty much dialed out of the box. This is the truck you want if you plan on racing MT, period.

The platinum is most definitly dialed straight out of the box, factory setup is pretty much dead on
