Good news!
Some good new for me this evening.
I was able to get my Revo running again, got it outside after the fumes got to me in my garage and it did pretty well.
I hadnt been able to run it much due to a screwed up forward-backward server, transmission server I guess it would be.
Problem was that the server was getting stuck when I switched between forward and reverse and it wasnt catching and therefore, wouldnt switch.
I was able to fix it so the forward transmission works properly, but when turning back into reverse, it's stripping the gear.
But I'll probablly head up to a local hobby shop tomorrow and fix it up some more. This place also has a track right beside the shop so I'll try and get it running there. (King, NC)

your stripping your reverse gear because your idle is to high when you switch into reverse trust me i did about 5 times before i realized i was an idiot the key is to be a good enough driver so you dont need to use it i went with the foward only robinson metal gears and have never looked back
