Will a Traxxas Revo Transmission from a 3.3 work in a 2.5 truck ?????

I've read that it will, but it is not a drop-in. There are differences in the way the two mount.

The Revo 3.3 Tranny and 2.5 tranny mount the same. The driveshafts will be different tho.
