Hey whatsup..? I have a savage with the hpi s.25 still in it, a hb pipe and 52/15 gearing. The problem is, my truck is either always in 2nd gear unless i stop and slowly give it throttle then when it shifts, punch it, kick up dust and pull away. since all i drive on is dirt, that might be the problem. i got my trans set: the second set screw 5 turns out and i'm not sure about the first set screw.i tighten my slipper and nothing happend as i thought that might be the problem because i like a loose slipper because i want to conserve my spur.(would that help, dont really know, just going off what i think)

Anyone have this problem? Any suggestions?

its gotta be something in the setting. you could also pull it apart and look for the obvious(i.e. stripped gears, metal shavings...)
