Default Monster Trucks -- Video

A new series started at R/C Hq in San Antonio last Friday. The Huffman Cup which goes to the winner of each month's series of races. That person holds the 'cup' until the next winner takes it at the end of the month. They are going to engrave all the winners names on the cup etc. Didn't get to stay long had some pain problems and had to go home. But I got enough to do a short vid of the monster trucks in action. Solved one of my problems and this is much sharper than the last few have been. The glass in the Canon is so much better than the stuff in the old camera I can't use the same old tricks for manual focus. That is until I find a good exposure for the whole track and lock it down. Then the focus trick works and there is no more focus hunting by the lens which irritates me to no end. Its not as bad in good light but this was a pretty extreme test with bright areas and dark areas and all points in between. A few more tweaks and I'll be getting what I paid for from the Canon

Default That fence has been tested many times

There used to be a jump on the front and people used to clear the fence at the end and end up in the street. I've seen it happen more than once. Much safer now as they aren't going to ram their way through a chain link fence. Actually more go out in the tulies from the bump right before the downhill on the back stretch.
