Any truck using an automatic nitro transmission wont be as good on accelerating then a single speed, it's only a waste off time with brushless.

Then there is the advantage of lenght the E-Revo has, lower C.G., ...

I think the length addition is due to calculating wing into it. Revo Platinium is longer than 3.3 and I suspect they are including the wing in the length.

If you'd use the Set-back arms the Platinum has you gain another 19mm.

Chassis on the E-Revo is actually 10mm longer then Nitro's chassis.

I am wondering how much is the next months' saving is.
I have towers emails coming to me but none of them have $40 off of $250 or more. Just the $30. Do you have a special (super saver, etc) account with them or something? If not, what day was the email sent?

It was explained to me and others from someone at Traxxas that the chassis itself was stretched 10mm longer than the 3.3 for a total of 40 mm longer than the 2.5 chassis. They needed more room in the chassis for motors and batteries. Yes it is longer than the 3.3 and it's not just because of the wing.

There's a lot of info on this new ERevo from the man that was in charge of this project at Traxxas here.

This truck looks incredible but before everyone gets too excited, here are the extremely small dimensions of the battery compartments.
29mm-156mm-50mm was the dimensions a tech support guy at Traxxas supplied me with. Not much room for lipos and A123 will not fit this either. This truck has been tested with 6S lipo
