WheelyKing to Crawler, some questions
Hi,
I have been playing with my stock WK for a while and I am getting bored with not getting onto a curb. I want it to have more climbing ability but don't really want a hard core crawler. So maybe some of you out there can share some ideas.
First of all, I am worried about locking the front differential. I mean, how much performance in "high speed" handling will I lose?
Second, is it possible to run the truck reverse, so the battery is at the front. The body is not exactly symmetrical.
4 W steering possible?
Basically I am trying to find a balance between basher and crawler. Any idea experience?
Thanks!

I believe if you just remove the rear sway brace and get drop-in diff lockers for the rear you should be good to go.

hobbypartz good stuff
get you a flysky 3 channel that has 10 model memory and all kings of features, and get you two of thet-pro high torgue metal gear servos, 2 metal servo arms and a rear mont for the servo. i have a crawler king with the same servos and they rock for the price and the flysky radio with a xl-5wp esc powered by a sky 5000 mah 30c pack and novak 55 high torgue brused motor. i also have the foams that come out of traxxas annaconda tires in the stock tires with 3 oz of bird shot in eack fron wheel and 2 oz in each rear wheel. its a beast man.
