Awesome but I don't see anywhere to actually submit a registration. I don't have a monster truck but may have to find a truck for the event

I'll be coming regardless though.

I attended last year and planned to return but $30 per truck is just ridiculous. I know quite a few people that run at least 3 trucks and they arent going to dish out $90 just to race. My family runs 8 promod trucks and I know my father isnt going to pay $240 for entrance alone.

Default entry fee

$30 is too high for a 3 day event? If you enter at a typical LHS sponsored race, they charge about $15 per entry and what do you get?
The 30 dollar fee entitles you to: 5 events (show and shine, racing, longjump, freestyle, pulling) Sure sounds like a bargain to me.

Go to the Snowbirds and pay $55 to $65 per class to walk away with a wooden plaque, not to mention spending 5 hours working on your car for every 5 minutes on the track. That'n no vacation, there's no fun in that. I'm guessing that you have no clue how many prizes are up for grabs. $30 is a very reasonable price for 3 days of FUN and entertainment and the chance to walk away with 1 or more of the hundreds of prizes up for grabs. No matter if your a racer or spectator, everyone has a chance to walk away with some free swag. I hope you and your family decide to attend as this year will blow last years event away. Hope to see you there.

Like I said I attended last years race. Snowbirds may be expensive but you probably only run 2 classes each. This diggers dungeon event isn't the snowbirds anyway. Plus people who Race aren't going to want to pull and freestyle etc.. with their race trucks. Last year wasnt nearly as expensive perhaps thats why I have such a problem with the huge prize raise.

Buckland,

No, it's not Snowbirds, but I can compare it to many other races also. $30entry fee and IF your good enough, you take home a very nice trophy and lots of prizes(kits,tires,bodies,electronics,etc.). National, sanctioned events, $40+ and IF your good enough, you take home a plaque. I'm not saying it's cheap, but reasonable, yes. The only expensive part I see is in travel. I'll spend 75-80 in gas + whatever lodging costs will be. I know others will spend way more and others way less, those are just my costs. Either way, I hope you decide to come and bring many more with you!

To be honest, many people suggested we could charge 40 or more, but we want to keep it reasonable for the average guy. I spoke to several people in the RC industry that have been to both the Snowbirds and the Oct. No Limit event, and they said there is not an event in the nation that has an atmosphere like the events at the Dungeon. There has been a change in personnel, and the new team proved in October that the 2008 event will smoke what you saw in 2007.

$30 is nothing. The psycho nitro blast in ATL was $60 and they gave out plaques. Some directions would be nice if anyone has them.

It would be a truely different story if it were competitive racing. Diggers Dungeon is just a bunch of monster truck guys having a good time racing on a simple course. You dont get alot of run time and if you mess up early you will not run again because theres only one brackett. Theres no fame coming along with it as its not a big deal. For example whomever wins the snowbirds will be remembered as beating all the best drivers in the country. Even though there will be magazine coverage no one will remember who wins a class at diggers dungeon. Thats just my take on things. Can someone explain why the price was raised? I know the crew changed from rcmonstermotorsports to nolimit but why has entrance almost tripled from last time around?
