Default INTEGY PIGGY BACK SHOCKS

I have a set of the Integy Piggy back Shocks on a Associated MGT. they work and look great by they leak. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

If they leak then they are not working great. I've had this problem with my Integy PB's on the Revo and I solved it by selling them and getting different shocks. Honestly everything I tried did not work with those shocks! They do look real good, but that doesn't help much.

run, far away from them, look at them wrong, and they might bend.

Default integy shocks

i'm sorry to tell you this but there's really no way to fix it. i had a set on my savage, and no matter how many times i rebuilt them with different o rings, new shock shafts, they would not stop leaking. i followed every step to the t. i would say out of the 8 shocks on my savage, i think 5 of them leaked continuously. i consider these the most wasteful hopup i did for my truck. i turned around and sold them on ebay, got most of my money out of it. yes they are bling, but no they serve no function. i put the stock shocks back on with the triple rate springs from rc raven. haven't had a issue since the swap back. now some shocks they make, such as the one for the revo, people had good reviews on.. but from reading the post above, i don't doubt that they suck too.

i had the integy alum front and rear bumpers on my tmaxx, talk about a waste of money. first time out, all of them were bent. the holes didn't line up exactly well when building either.. broke one trying to bend them back into shape. swapped to rpm plastics.. never had an issue.

yes they are cheap, yes they add bling, but what do you want? a shelf queen you are afraid to get dirt on or a truck you can take outside and bash and race?

I don't know off had what size shock your truck takes, but look into Team Losi MT shocks, NOT THE ONE FROM THE LST! They look like the ones off their CR buggy and truck. I had a set on my T and EMaxx and never had a problem with leaks or anything!! I'm acctualy saving for a set for my new ride posted in "Mean Truck pics" right in this section.

I was afraid of this, I thought I heard rumors that these shocks suck. actually I sold them and my MGT to a friend, and he is having leaking issues. The truck still handlles great and the shocks leak. they never leaked on me. but I had two on a crawler, the other 6 non leaking shocks were still in package. I will make it good to my (former) friend and give him a discount on the computer I just sold him. dam integy. this is the first and last time I will buy anything from them. cheap chintsy ass bastards. you got me.

Arthur your shocks suck!!!

NO, NO,NO, they are the same style but are as large as the Maxx series shocks. They work quite well and they come in 8 packs and 4 I believe.

Here's a shot of my EMaxx, look close at the shocks. They are the Losi shocks I was talking about. The truck is set low with the shocks all the way out on the arm and all the way in on the tower. I used 30W oil with the standard Maxx red springs. In the pic I was using the springs that the shocks come with though.

Here is another pic of it alittle higher with the same shocks:

Exactly, it's the same exact shock as the CR's but just as large as the Maxx series. They are awsome!!

traxxas aluminum XL shocks with heavy springs. that my friend is a smooth shock. i run them on my race e-maxx. work great and lower the stance a little so it handles better.
