Default New Tyres for Savage

I wanted to get some new tyres for the savage.

I was looking at getting the dirtbones, the ones that come standard on the limited edition savage.
Are these good for the pavement, do they get chewed up qucikly on pavement?

I use the savage on grass and sometimes on the road.

These tyres are supposed to be 40% lighter, so should make the truck go a lot faster.

What do you guys think, am I wasting my money?

wouldnt say they ARE good for the pavement, the dirtbones that is.

my friend ran them on pure concrete. rough concrete at this parking garage we bash at for almost 3 gallons. and well it took 3 gallons for them to become mostly bald. no too bad but they did wear down quite a bit.

i recomend the GT tires if your looking for something more all terrain from HPI or the older savage tires that were on the older .21 and .25 savys

If your buying them for more speed only then IMO you are waisting your money. Nothing adds speed like a new engine...You have had a few good suggestion on that already.
