The smartech is a T-Maxx clone. One of the photos of this car is actually a T-Maxx with their body on it. If you look closely at the photo of the MT with Maxx wheels, you'll see TRX[Traxxas logo] on the skid plate, along with Traxxas chrome plastic bumpers.

The parts should be interchangable with the Traxxas T-Maxx.

excell hobby imports those things. Its a very cheap t-maxx knockoff and although parts may look interchangeable between a maxx and the magic wheel people are finding out many are not.

Stick to more mainstream stuff. You usually can't go wrong.

try adjusting the idle screw.

or take off the servo horn and set it so it doesn't put on full throttle.

Default Megaforce owners are so rare man!!!

There used to be quite a few at RCMT but now they're all gone. BTW how do you find the whole truck? Performance etc. Maybe it's just me i find the engine a bit weak for the truck.

Well, I find it to be just fine. Coming from orion wasp trucks and .25 buggies that I have as well, I have the most fun with this truck! I did however upgrade to a 16t clutch bell, a larger heat sink and a motor saver airfilter. That helped alot!
