Default revo fuel tank

ok, i have narrowed it down to two tanks. the crt tank and the 8ight T tank. has anyone gone threw tech inspection with a crt tank. i see it used to be labelled as a 145 tank, then i saw that it is actually a 150. if it is really a 145 i am going to get it. i want to stay away from putting stuff in the tank to take up space. i dont like the idea(personal perference). if i have to put something in the tank i guess i can but would rather not. thanks for any help you can give.

ok, so i just found out that the 8ight t tank has a plastic insert that is screwed into the bottom of the tank. this insert makes it less than 150. i wonder how much less. i am back to where i started. which tank have you guys tried, which is easier to mount? it looks like the crt tank would mount a little easier. thanks in advance.

The 8t tank has the insert so that with fuel line and a fuel filter you are under the 150cc mark. You can remove the plug though. The only way to know for sure is to fill up an 8T tank and empty it into the graduated cylinder. It also depends on who does teh teching, if they tech only the tank, you should be fine, if they tech the tank and fuel line, you might be over. The extra lap of run time where you are going to have to pit at least 3 times in a 30 minutes main regardlessis not going to make that much of a difference, many of us are running the 145cc violator or Mugen tanks, I even know of a guy running a 125cc mugen buggy tank, and he does very well, one of the top racers in the northwest.

I believe that it is 150cc of fuel total, including tank, fuel line and filter/s for small blocks.
