Default T-max steering?

My Steering is extremely weak when on ground, but when I lift up the front it works fine........Is this normal? Could I get a strong servo or batteries? Ok whats a good setting for the fuel needle in Central florida? How many turns out?

thats normal. To get more steering, upgrade to a good hi-torque servo and heavy duty servo saver and use a rechargeable pack.

if you are gonna fork out the dough for a new servo, at least get a 5645, if not the 5955 ( 2x+ stronger than the 645 or the 5645)the 5645 is about 10 dollars more than the 645, is quite a bit faster and quite a bit stronger. The 5955 is much faster and stronger and will turn them tires, plus it is titanium geared. FWIW, I run a 645 in 2 of my 1/10th electric vehicles for steering. A receiver pack upgrade is nice, but you almost need to get a switch to do it right, with out having to do a lot of wiring I would say get a minimum of 1200, in a hump pack, 1400 is a little better. And get a decent servo saver, if you can find a proline they work pretty good, just need to keep it tightened down. For a charger, do you run any electronic rigs? Do you plan on it? A good charger is one of the best things you can buy for your truck. I would say get a digital charger, i think you can pick up a decent one for under $60.00. If you are going to, or do, race electric trucks as well, get a better charger, like an ice, or integy 16x5, or even a triton, although the triton only charges up to 5 amps or so, and the others charge over 6 amps, which is good for electric racing.

I went and got the hump pack.....but how do you turn it off now? Or does it stay on?

I don't know if I told anyone but two losi buggys, one losi truck, a Tmax 2.5r, and A CRAP LOAD of tools and chargers were donated by my father to my work and I am now trying to get them all started. I got the TMAX started but its now stuck in reverse....any help ? Can I remove the reverse? Or how do I get it out of reverse?

get this. the wire all the way on the left goesinto the recivier the wire in the middle plugs into the hump pack and the wire all the way to the right u use to charge. so put everything in the radio bax tyhen cut out a small hole on the side of the radio box so the charging wire can exit. with htis u don't have to open up the radio box every time u need to charge. everything stays in adn all u have to do is hook up the charger to that one wire thats outside of the box. no need to open the box

There is a forward only conversion that you can install. You need to get a switch, I am pretty sure I posted that in my previous post, I have had good luck with the airtronics switches, and they are about 5 bucks. there is a button on the radio to switch it back to forwards, if you are using the TQ3.

Stuck in reverse? Flick the third channel button a couple of times. This has happened on my tmaxx a time or two.
