yank the 3.3 off and sell it on ebay .my buddy just got 140.00 for his with the e-z start stuff minus the one way bearing

sell the stock radio gear he got another 35.00 for the radio receiver and servo's

and 28.00 for the stock body that rips with one slide on the roof

the tanks in the early 2.5's had a blue oring that leaked they replaced it with an orange one no more leaks

there has been a few brand new tm 18's for 150.00 buy it now on ebay lately

the 3.3 plastic axles are thicker then the 2.5 were

sell the rims and tires for another 35.00 on ebay.
you should be able to pick up a tm18 a real body and almost enough left over for rims and tires

Ah, you are talking drive shaft, not axles, drive shafts are plastic in the Revo and they have 6mm steel axles.

the only problem with the trx engines is that the carb does not open
u can go off to the side of the track and the carb wont open and u can tune it to that. But when u get out on the track it will start to open again and it will be wayto lean and over heat wich will wreck the motor.the actual engine is good its just the revo throttle linkage.
any of you guys with revostake the airfilter boot off and open the throttle, and u just watch more than 3/4 of you will have the carb sticking. You just have to adjust the linkage and it will open consistantly

I know this because me and my dad both have revos. Before i got my 18 i had the problem. my dad stuck with the stock motor and he got the carb to open consistantly and it is as tunable as my 18tm.
