I really dont think the proline rims nd tires would be able to handle the forces of the baja, got any photos of your exhaust mod?!?!?

It's suprising the amount of punishment they will take isn't it.

Okay, I broke my Baja. Apparently this buggy will take anything except for a side-way landing off a 30 feet cliff, and it seems the differential locked up, so I'm assuming a bevel gear may have broken off. Does anyone know a place that sells the replacement gears? Or exact part number? According to the manual, I need 85445-a and 85445-b, but I can't find anyone that carries it. So maybe 85445 contains both gears?

did you take it apart to find out? id recommend doing that before you go buying up parts. baja parts arent cheap.

Uh yeah, thanks but I'm planning to do that later on today. From the behavior of the buggy I'm very confident it's something within the differential. Coincidentially, I had the similar thing happened with a HPI Nitro MT2 I used to own, with the exception of driving it off a ledge or cliff.

You are correct "a" and "b" do not exist on their own. They come as parts of the main part number.
