Pro-Line Powerstroke shock oil?
Hi,
I would like some "RACING" recommandations on oil for the powerstrokes shocks. At the monster madness, The Tamiya drivers were running them without the Bypass shock. Should I do the same? Or run with them but with some lighter oil?
Any advice would be apreciated.
Thanks.

Wow I'm probably way off with my 30wt. But why so thick? That should slow down the response no? Sorry I'm used to on-road racing.
As for asking the other guys on the track, well the track will open this weekend so no one tried it yet.
Thanks for the help guys!

It really depends on the factors of your track. Until you have had a few runs it will be hard to know what you will be looking for. I have been racing for a while now and im only just getting my optimum shock settings sorted. I run on quite a rough surfaced gravel track and im starting to learn that a lower spring rate with light oil (around 25wt) is better for me, mind you I run 8 shocks whick may differ from your setup. Do you have any photos of your track????

Mhhh i tried first 60 front 50 rear and 70 front 60 rear and the truck, for my driving style, seems to balance side-to-side a lot even if i went down on shock preload. 90 front 80 rear was the best combination for the track i was racing.
Here you have 2 videos of my TNX during the last round of the Mexican National Offroad Championship (im working in Mexico) ... my TNX its the blue one with white wing :
