Default hp

The os.18tm has around 2.0 hp the early thought on the 3.3 which traxxas will not give out is the 3.3 will put out 2.35 hp. This makes it the most hp in a small block. They wanted to beat the os .18tz. It will probably have some of the tuning problems that Traxxas seems to have with all of there motors. But still a beast.

Yeah the new T-maxx looks like the same old truck, with Revo wheel and tires.

well it might look it but you have to look closer

new tranny
new slipper
opti drive
revo drive train(drive axles,etc.)
.20 motor
improved plastic(bulkheads,etc.)
wheel hubs

they pretty much beefed up everything that people did to the t-maxx to make it more durable.

even the 2.5R model got a bunch of upgrades the only one they left alone was the standard maxx and im sure it will be gone before you know it.

The biggest improvement on the whole truck is the longer wheel base. There is a guy in my area that has a custom chassis that he and a friend (aluminum welder) made. With a fast OS motor he nearly hangs with the best truggy drivers. The extra length makes all the difference. I bet the center diff won't hurt either.

is it just me or is that a 2.5 just more displacment (bored out)? i see that causing problems.......but the truck itself looks solid. im interested to see what people think of it. more likely then not that engine will be taken out of the trucks but ya never know.

no just kidding,it looks very similar to the 2.5 but the case is all new as are the internals and the head is also bigger.
