are you new to nitro? dont do anything stupid yet, are there any problems you are having with it? if so, we can help. but, if you do decide to destroy the defensless revo, than can i get the remaining parts for 120$? lol, jk.

Why did you post this?

Your not asking a question. Your not describing a problem.

Did you break it in? Did you tune it correctly? Did you ask your lhs to help tune it? Or at least get a look over?

atleast his sig is funny. and yea most likely you didnt tune your truck correctly. there is a chance you got a bad engine (there is usually that group of trucks that seem not to work) and if so traxxas should be helpful with that. what exactly is it doing?

So what is the exact problem ? doesent it start ? does it get too hot ? not hot enough ? stalling ? bogging ?

Try to explain more in detail what is happening.

im sorry to hear about the "unhelpfulnees" of your LHS. do you have any others in the area? your turck might simply be tuned wrong. that is usually the main reason for engines running badly or not at all. what exactly is the truck doing? is it boggin badly? dumping alot of smoke out?

try leaning it out, just play with the carb till it starts, remember not to forget about the LSN. there is the HSN and LSN your manual should point them out.

What fuel are you using, and what % nitro ? What aftermarket cooling head did you get ? i had the strangest problem with my 2.5R and nobody could figure it out, finally i went back to stock head, and everything works as a charm ! the aftermarket cooling head was a Nova.

What plugs are you using ?

Did you check the o-ring on the gas tank lid ? if its the blue one, its probably bad, get the new upgraded red/orange o-ring. Also check the fuellines for any cracks or pinholes, also check the back preasure one.

I know what you mean. I have three Revos and nothing but grief with the engines. I thought if it is this hard to tune then I don't went anything to do with the hobby. Then I changed the engine to the OS TM in two of them and OS TZ in the other and I can firmly say I am impressed! These engines run and the only time they quit is went the fuel is out!!!! The TRX2.5 that come stock has very poor construction fitting. The block and sleeve fit is to loose. I suggest an engine change and enjoy.

First thing I would do is make sure your glow plug is good and if you are using a glow stick to start it make sure it is charged up.

just my .02 cents
