ooohhhhh. that is one sweet hardcore rock crawler you got there. are you going to enter into any competition?

btw, its much more effective if you put the battery on the lower plate instead and all the electronics on the upper portion. To lower your cog.

Battery
Not going into any competition.... Just got it to mess around with..... As far as the battery goes.....(and the chassis) I have to say there is not much room to mount anything..... Because of my speed controller (ITS HUGE) there is liitle room for anything else.... I was thinking of strapping the battery to the front upper links.... The reason I mounted the battery up there and the electronics inside was to protect the electronics in the event of a tumble.... The electronics are worth about 6 of those batteries...

Upper link interference
Hey, cool Truck! Only one question.... do you get much suspension travel?? It looks like the upper links from the chassis to the axle are going to hit one of your chassis braces before much travel kicks in, maybe not, or you could just move that brace up.... in this picture.
Just curious... looks good though. I'd like to do one someday as well.

Suspension Travel
It looks deceiving but the shocks bottom out before they hit the braces....... I have since moved them anyway and they are now level with the ground which gives me more clearance....

Crawler
It is a RockBull 2 Advanced Chassis.....Articulation is about 80 to 90 Degrees...I am running 2 Integy 55 Turn lathes with Clod axles and full metal gears and Lockers.....bolt on 2.2 : 1 Gear Reduction units giving me 70 : 1 final drive ratio....Thanks for the compliments.... This is my first rock crawler and I wanted it to be awesome instead of constantly upgrading I just bought all the good stuff from the start...
