Will BSR spec tires be acceptable as they are the same and I already have them?

CRC Purple Stripe spec tires are the only acceptable tire. BSR specs on black rims will not be allowed.

I would encourage you to talk to Brandon Skewes at Genesis for your spec tire needs. If he is unable to supply what you need I have ordered some spec tires that will be available for $22/set for those who are in need at the race.

Not trying to be difficult... but what is the thought process in not allowing BSR since they are made in the same facility?

Due to the support that CRC has given our club over the years the decision was made to use CRC spec tires only for this event.

I've not yet seen a race that allowed multiple spec tires for racing, races generally either use one or the other and that is the route we have chosen to go as well. Of course you are welcome to practice on whatever tires you choose but qualifying and mains must be ran on CRC Purple Stripes.

Just wanted to make sure everyone is getting signed up. We're getting close to our goal of entrants. Also if possible go through your rc signup profile and add/fix your transponder info. Also please double check your shirt size. What is indicated in your profile is what you'll get!!!

You may pay when you get there but will not be entered until payment is received. At last check, we are well over 150 entries and a lot of people need to sign up for their second and third classes. We will be filling heats at some point soon and then cutting off entries to that class as being full.

Do USGT tires need to be purchased at the race or can I bring my own?
