I got rained out on Saturday. I did get a few things moved and the outside area leveled better. I need to get the crate moved in now, the gate in the fence is trackside so I have to get the crate in before placing the last of the jumps. The spikes for the tubing are being made now also. It's coming along. Late may won't happen of course, but early June like I was hoping is still on target.

Will there be a sufficient supply of rental transponders at the races of should everyone plan on buying one?
Any idea on the rental cost?
Is the Savox SC0251MG an approved servo gear upgrade for the stock Slash class? I know there was some talk about it.

There are not any rental transponders and unless something changes, that will be how it is for the future.

As for the slash class with the servo gear upgrade, it was discussed at the track by some that traxxas will be having its upgrade kit for the servos too. So we need to determine as a club if they will be legal.

My personal opinion it will be as I highly doubt anyone is on the fence on that issue but we still need the official say so.

I'll follow up on this when I get home from work on the facebook thread to see if we can go with a concensus on that.

Hey guys, as I understand it, Traxxas made a metal gear option for the servo that is in the slash. Since it doesn't change the specs of the servo, this would be an appropriate replacement. As Marco said, we need to confirm that but I don't see a problem.

As for transponders, there will be some for rent, $5 per day. We will need to plug into your receiver to make it work.
