would have responded sooner but Flu took me out the past few days.
The new layout is fun. Took a bit getting used to the straight being in front of the drivers stands however I enjoyed it and I think it helped a bit in some marshalling efforts. Big thing was people getting used to not dropping there cars down on the straight for any reason to help avoid collisions which I think was figured out by mid day.
Great time as usual and the newer table heights are great too. wouldn't mine seeing more of the tables at those heights!
Hope to make the next leg with the kids.

Hey just found this site & thread! Would love to make it up sometime, I take it there are summer races too? I live in East Grand Forks and after almost 30 years looking to get back into racing. Any practice tracks around the area, or stores that happen to sell parts?

welcome back!
The Warren indoor track in general appears to have practices in the afternoon on Sundays. You will want to confirm however, probably on facebook, when the practice is exactly.
They do have an outdoor track which is by the fairgrounds up there. The facebook site has a picture of it.
What vehicles do you have and what racing classes interest you?

I am interested in any kind of racing. Just out to have fun and don't care what place I get
I would be using my Kyosho Turbo Ultima once I get it up and going again.
By older boys (ages 12 and 10) both have ECX AMP DB's.

cool. There have been a variety of vehicles being raced. We have some vintage vehicles that actually do a decent job getting around the track and the atmosphere is quite friendly.
If you find yourself looking at vehicles, 1/10 2wd buggy is a big class at the track. 1/10 4wd buggy has been having great turnout too.
If your a kyosho guy, be cool to see an RB6 or ZX6 on the track

Look on Facebook at RC Underground Inc. we have pictures of both the indoor and outdoor tracks. We will be wrapping up our winter race series on April 1 so if you are free come to Warren and have a look around. We will also be starting our summer race series in May. Summer races will be held the first Saturday of the month with the exception of July and that one will be held during the county fair. We do have practice days usually Sunday afternoons best to check with Facebook to make sure its sometimes posted there.
