+1 . Turn outs have been great and we have a very nice sized 1/10 4wd buggy class too!

Most use some type of slick, I run ground down m3 hole shots and some primes, as they are running on the gray carpet and have some other random tires but still slicks

Clay slicks work well when sauced, though you have to watch it as you can oversauce and start traction rolling. SCT seems to have more of that and people are even using proline street fighters as they have less bite.

I have heard that Super soft or even soft (like Proline M4 and M3) work well unsauced on buggy class based vehicles.

I have also tried a set of Jconcepts flipouts on the rear for 2wd buggy 17.5 class since they are not hard pin tires and hence allowed and work quite well. As that is much lower power it doesn't appear to beat up the pins.

If you need tires I still have multiple sets here for clay slicks from proline and aka for 2wd buggy and talking to guys running 4wd buggy on carpet, it seems running the narrower 2wd buggy front wheel is common with them on 4wd buggy. may give that a try myself.

Thanks. Not sure if the schedule will allow it or not but wouldn't mind coming over and running once or twice.

WOW what a awesome time again, 80 plus cars for this carpet off road race, 15 plus mains and hats off to Chad for the THREE A Main wins, just could not let you have stock 17.5 buggy win.
Next big race weekend is scheduled for March 4, and it was awesome to see lots of familiar faces

It's amazing at how well everyone is getting here. Bunch of good guys to hang around with. Next month I will hopefully have a 2wd buggy to join in on that massive stock buggy class.

+1. Hope to have a better showing for wheeler still getting used to the new vehicle.

If they have a test and tune day that starts earlier I could see about making it up.

Someone mentioned that the racers at there track pretty much uses this stuff exclusively. I gave it a try at the past race and it held up quite well.
