For anyone else interested in dirt oval racing north of the cities during the winter, Hobby Farm is a blast!
Last season the classes were (all 1/10 scale electric 2 cell):
Novice- any car or truck (for beginners only)
2wd Buggy- Open motor, open tires
2wd Short Course- Open motor, open tires
Street Stock- 2wd buggy chassis (mid motor allowed) 17.5 max, open tire, street stock body
Sprint Car- Sprint car chassis (Custom Works, GFRP, or buggy conversions allowed) 13.5 max, AKA Rebar or JConcepts Bar Codes
B-Mod- Traxxas Slash 2wd HCG chassis only. Stock Slash tires, stock shocks and traxxas Slash springs, Titan 12t brushed motor only, dirt modified body
A-Mod- Open short course chassis (aftermarket conversions allowed), open motor, Duratrax Bandito tires only (any compound) dirt modified body
Follow them on Facebook and check them out this coming fall/winter. The track is run by great people and the racers are all alot of fun.
