Default XXX-4 woes @ TCHR

Every XXX-4 that ran this past weekend seems to have broken at least one part. Everyone list what part(s) broke on their XXX-4, and tell us if the replacement part(s) held up or not. The front arms and rear shock tower seem to be the weakest - were there any other parts broken?

Every time a new kit comes out, there seems to be a few glitches. We have ordered all the parts available for this kit already. It sounds as if the peplacement parts are a bit stronger so there may have been a problem with the first kits plastic ? I would guess you can call Losi's tech dept and get replacements.

I figured you would come out with a tower anyhow Ben. Hows the artwork coming ?

I broke a front arm, no shock towers yet

My concern is when they have updated front arms that are stronger, the next thing to go will probably be the hinge pin mounts??? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

If Losi isn't going to make new towers anytime soon, I'm going to make a few braceing kits to mount over the towers out of CF plate. Hopefully I can get a small batch done for us to use real soon. I'm just not sure I should wait to see what Losi says about updating their parts, or just go ahead and make a few of them ASAP? What do you think?

- Ben

Hey Jeff, have you had a chance to check on the price of that XX-4 Worlds Edition for me? Got some money burning a hole in my pocket...
