If someone wants to cheat , there going to cheat just about every mainstream motor has rotor options.. Nobody's going to like everything about a spec class. If you want to spec a buggy class That's widely excepted you'll have to spec a b4.2 with open spedo, open motor , and open tires.........

I think trinity is the easiest solution... People will always whine.

I don't care though I would run any motor.

Run these and you wont have a hard time with cheating. Everyone buys one and gives it to you, you keep it until the end of the series. at the end they can get it back. It would also bring a bit of nostalga back.

My plan is I put a number on everyone's motor. Then at the start of the day everyone gives me their motor. Then we draw. So if somebody is cheating they won't get to use their cheater motor. Then at the end of the day they would get their motor back

Forgot about these Joe. @ $60 they should be cheap enough for everyone to run, and being new theres not really rotor options. Plus SMC has a great reputation. http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...ss-motors.html

Very interesting. It's a lot like a gen 2 Orion. I'll keep my eye out for it. I have to first figure out what a 6 gear tranny can take

Thier new spec 17.5 sounds like just the ticket for this class.

In a recent interview Cliff Lett said that they tested the reworked 6 gear all the way down to a 6T brushless and it did fine.

Here is the interview, skip to about 57 minutes in:

So other people will be using your motor? What if they burn up the motor? With a esc failure or being over geared?
