Hey Guys
We just opened a track in Elk Point SD 20 minutes north of SIoux City IA and 50 minutes south of Sioux Falls SD. We are having our first race this Sunday Aprl 29th doors open at 9a.m and races start at noon.

We are running carpet oval, and on road 12th scale and 10th scale touring car.
For the oval we run the BRL classes and BRL rules, right now the popular classes are 17.5 sportsman truck and 13.5 stock spec COT and 17.5 EDM.

Track is 3 carpets wide and is about 34x75ft. Oval runline is approx. 120ft.

Here is the Sunday schedule thru August:
So far schedule is
May: Sundays- 6th and 20th
June: Sundays- 3rd and 17th
July: Sundays- 8th and 22nd
August: Sundays: 12th and 26th
September: to be determined
October: to be determined

We are planning on doing a 2 day Oval shoot race in September we are still working on the dates.

We are going to be trying out a wed. night for guys if they want to race but just let me know. That will start first week in May.

OK yesterday we were talking about a points system for rally-cross racing i think it should be something like this

1st 60 pts
2nd 55 pts
3rd 52 pts
4th 49 pts
5th 46pts
6th 43pts
7th 40pts
8th 38pts
9th 36pts
10th 34pts
we can have 2 drops "races we miss" in case something comes up
points series starts June 6th and runs to Sept 26 . let me know what you think on this
