Default Full Throttle Indoor Electric

I made my first trip up to the Full Throttle Indoor Off-Road track today. What a great time! If you are looking for some electric fun on dirt this winter, you need to make the drive. They race every Saturday I was there just after 9:00 and was packed up and on the road by 6:00

The place looks really cramped in the photo's cause it is, but when the cars are running the track it's just a complete riot! 12-13 sec laps, and they use almost every inch of dirt with this layout. I guess it is larger than last year, so if you had been up there before, give it another chance.

Short Course Truck was my choice for the day and the largest class, but buggies and stadium trucks were running as well.

Its a blast, the track is med/hi bite black dirt, no impossible sections, but the whole track is challenging and rewards consistency..

I wish I could have made it this week, they had the largest turnout for SC trucks so far. I'm planning on being there next Sat. The tight twisty layout really helps me hone my driving skills.

And in the summer that entire indoor track turns into 1 large 1:8 scale jump!

Actually, Sean uses the dirt from the indoor track to build jumps for a smaller 1/10th scale friendly track on the other side of his drivers stand from the large outdoor track during the spring/summer, it is awesome!!!! The area where the track is all winter is used for indoor pitting in the summer, a great setup!!

Thinking of picking up some new tires for my Blitz...what would work best on the surface up at Full Throttle in SCT form? Calibers, Goosebumps, or maybe Bowties?

Looking ahead at racing in the MN Nitro Series SCT class this summer, so I thought maybe the Calibers would be good all around tires for various surfaces.

Thanks,

John
