Just picked up a Grand Motorsports GMS 11 to come play with you guys.

Quote:
Pro Mod- 11" Wheelbase chassis, 1975 or older Pro Mod body, with scoop or blower. Must resemble a NHRA/IHRA/ADRL type car. 36 oz (may change once cars are built and weighed) 10.5 Brushless motor only. 2 cell lipo no limits.
Will this body work?

GRANDMOTORSPORTS PROSTOCK BRUSHLESS RTR..SEE PICS!!

It's older than 1975 and has a blower, but I don't know if it fits the rules, or if a different body is going to make me more competitive.

Also, where is a good place to start with gearing? I will be running an SS or Ballistic 10.5.

Hey..

That body is legal, but it's a think bulky t-maxx body someone made into a drag car. You would be better off with a drag specific body for the car. RC Car Kings has a ton in stock. I would also switch to o-ring front wheels. Other then that, you have a winner. Gearing would be spur between 87 and 93, pinion 30-33. Depends on tire diameter and motor/esc combo.

Also check out www.rcdrags.com the message boards there are more drag specific and will have all the track updates/results.

Sure...the Bracket Class we have allows just about any RC vehicle to run. This class calls for consistancy and cutting a good light versus speed, and you would use your dial-in time to set your side of the lights. For example your SC10 could run against a Dragster, Funny Car, Pro Mod, Pro Stock or a Tamiya Frog! Bring it out!
