It just proves you don't have to spend alot to have fun. Racing is racing, slow or fast, it really doesn't matter.

Billy,

I agree with you about the Sweeps, let's get together with the others and fix it if we can before WOW.

Greg

Really? If a race director is going to vote on who runs what than.... I know this is not the thread for it but I vote to eliminate Wiita from stock 1/12. I feel the state is getting tired of losing to him.

On a serious note. Change sucks... especially before a race. The big problem is most at LSRCC already own sweeps. It really was easy to take on because everyone had them the following Thursday night. There's alot of eyes out there. Ya or no. Lets just have a decision soon. I don't care either way. What will piss me off more is if Brustad ain't sport'n the surf board.

I have never cared what tire we run, but our Mini drivers as a group wanted this. I'll talk to the guys tonite and see what we can do.

My reason for wanting this for WOW is to try and get as many entries for the Mini class as we can.

Unlike the women of my past, it's about quality not quantity

Looks like we all decided to go back to the stock tire for wow and Sunday races. I think you can get a full year out of the stock tires if you just rotate front to rear. I would say if we switch tires for weekends and wow it would be silly to run a different one on Thursday nights at our club but that's up to the group. After all the sweeps are nearly a second faster on our track. Just my opinion.

I also joined the class to get the numbers up, and have FUN! I have been doing just that, as most people have seen, surfboards, shark's fin, little drink umbrellas... This car is one of my favorites to run, hope it stays that way...JEFF

For now we have only decided to go back to the kit tires for the WOW race only.

Excellent. I like when they are as close as possible to outta the box. The worse they handle the BETTER, in my opinion. I've got race cars... what I don't have (usually) is a class that I do not care where I finish. That's mini.

Surfboard... I love it!!!

What are your guys thoughts on the M06? RWD in with the FWD cars?

Bob,
Dont let the surfboard fool you, he's still the fastest guy on the track!

This video was shot in October at The Halloween Classic. 2s 5000mah/25.5 ROAR Sportsman ESC's in "blinky". I believe we were about 1.5 secs per lap or so behind 17.5 "blinky" TC.

I can bring mine to WoW in USVTA trim before changing it over to LSRCC/MMR specs so you can see first hand. Maybe it is closer too 3.7/17.5 than you think.
if there is any question the difference in speed just ask Toney Burke about VTA test at PK race.

the MMR spec is absolutely the right speed for the class!
