very good day, incredible grip, and great groove.

Over 3000 laps recorded... wow

here is another sample of 3 cell nimmh we saw today stock 17.5 with dead cell left in the pack. Also saw AA added to make better voltage for electronics instead of a booster or receiver pack.

What is the track dimensions?

How much track is left between the poles and the driver's stand?

club track is 36 x 60.

5 ft 8 between pole and edge on club track.

Sundays are the whole width and 4th roll of carpet....

I would say great grip for brand new. Andrew did you take before and after pictures of the groove? The rubber laid down very quickly.

No changes at all with my VTA or 18th. And very quick consistant laps. Down to 8.8 on my 18th and 9.1 on the VTA.

Only trouble I had was killing 2 of 4 cells in a pack. Anyone have or need a couple of Intellect 4200's??

That VTA wiring looks a little like spaghetti soup. CLEAN IT UP, or EAT IT

Track looks very sweet, wish I could have come but I had to take some family and friends to the lake today.

CHALLENGE 09
________________________________________
Thanks Andrew, great event ,it was a great weekend of racing. Thanks for everyone that made the trip,as for the local club members that chose not to race because of the RCP,what excuse will it be in August when the ozite is down.As I see It Andrew has supported the club events why not support his venue?

I guess we all misses Andrew's (haywood's)official announcement on 4-29-09.

Lets see a post by an anonymous post by anonymous user from the Challenge 09 post ripping TcORC members for not showing was the office MMR announcement. If you look at the racing list from the 2009 Challenge almost 75% of the racers ran at TcORC.

Jess that is not fair. I would have attended and raced but I was flying to Chicago on Sunday, I did stop by and watch on Saturday. The club did not boycott this race. The fist entry fee of $35 and second of $25 may have kept some racers away but I don't know if this was the case.

By the official announcement in July was to late for the club abandon the plans that had been layed out for the 2009-2010 season.

As all club members knew from last season the plan was to add more race dates for the new season averaging about one race every three weeks.

The club meeting was not planned to conflict with MMR it was a mistake and if the conflict would have been pointed out earlier the meeting could have been easily changed. The TcORC has no malicious intentions towards MMR.

How should have the club dealt with the the Sunday conflicting dates? Should we have just shut down the club, this would be our only option since were were locked in to Sundays with the armory.

Lets stop the bickering and start racing. The conflicting schedule topic was brought up by Neal on the TcORC forum and lets let it end now and just race.

Congratulations Andrew on a great addition to the Twin Cities RC racing scene. If I am still welcome I will be racing at MMR myself this season.

I am sad to have to read your comments on the post I did. I thanked Andrew and MMR direct for the hard work they did. I am not a member at tcorc. I do not want to be. My post was on the MMR post and NOT tcorc. Chris is the anonymous poster and a person that ran at tcorc last year. Hobbytown has been racing Wednesday for years and you have been there in past years and been at MMR this year and now have shown you read other threads and "You can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be lead."
Stan Laurel

I will say thank you again to Andrew and MMR direct for what they have done.

Tom I will say thank you to you as will – you have shown a bunch of people reasons not to be a club member or to go to a club event.

August 30th – first carpet race.
