2008-2009 EAST GRAND FORKS CARPET SEASON #5

AREA RACERS:

We have started our 5th season of indoor carpet racing at the East Grand Forks American Legion with a meeting and free race on Tuesday 11/18. On Tuesday 11/25 we will have one warm-up race night before the 2008-2009 series begins. Please consider joining us for some racing action. Thanks.

you just race on week nights kevin???? if they were on a weekend id come up you should come race with us at prcp(pingree) we have a race this weekend and dec 6 and more look on our post for dates and hows the new club going ???find a new off road spot yet?

Hi brent,

Very seldom do we have anything on Weekends at the Legion. Sunday is Bingo and Saturday is booked for weddings and stuff most of the time. We can book to put on a Saturday Race, but that costs a few bucks more than we have ever taken in on our best Tuesday night race. If we can get enough people racing again, we will put on some Saturday races. As of now, we are happy with the Tuesday night setup.

I will post something for Pingree if I get a chance, Work has been nuts lately and it was 9:30 before I got home tonight. Anyone is certainly welcome to post their race notices at any time on our site. Cain usually puts up area notices for us for Pingree.

"How's the Club?" We are still working on it. We bat around our ideas behind the scenes. We will be getting together again to form it officially soon and pay our initial dues. So far, we have 10 people committed. As far as a new off road site goes, we have great possibilities in the works, but need to secure our club status before putting in proposals as such. It will come together...

2008-2009 Points Series Racing has begun. The first race on 12/2 was pretty sparse, but we were able to run 4 heat/mains. Click the link below to view the results:

This normally starts a bit slow like this. More will join in soon. We also have two RC18T Rentals that can be used by people wanting to give it a try. We hope this will help get more new people involved.
