cars look like this.
Largely Ofna LD3's as a spec kind of thing with the stock Ofna engine, or the peak and orion budget motors. A few guys are experimenting with slightly faster engines. But likely that will eventually become a different class. Foam tires in the 37-45 shore range give good hook up, 37's wear out faster, 45's last, but have less traction... etc.
All are welcome! A few of our guys are fooling with mounting one of the McAllister Late-models (wide version) on standard 1/8th on-road cars like the serpent vectors and 950's or the Mugen MRX3 or MRX4 series cars with serious budget .21 engines. FREAKING FAST.... What a blast.

Don't need the current road car to kick ASS on the oval. just got to be able to hang onto it and conserve the tires. Evan had his done last time and ran some test laps, what a hoot, and freaking BOLTED an absolute PLEASURE to drive. Quite frankly, when he handed me the controller to try it out, I had a VERY hard time giving it back.
I'm working on bolting in some crap from one of my Serpent Vectors into an MRX3, so Evan and I can share a starter box. Save a little time. Touch wheels on an open wheel car and were all visiting the wall. It's awesome. Just like the real stuff. Conserve tires, make SMART passes or even wait longer than you wanted to. It's the funnest racing we do every year.
