Default NORTHERN MINI RACERS, MINOT

Just spoke to the prez and we are having a meeting this Sat. @ 3:00pm CST in Surrey. We need to get organized for the up coming 1/12th carpet season. It sounds like there are a number of new racers again this year so it should be another great season. If interested please attend

The meeting is in SURREY at the oval track, not in Sawyer where we race.

It seems like that only ones that don't like LiPos and BL are those that don't run them.

Look at all of the postings on the web and you will find very few that run them that hate them. We all used to run 1200s too. What I don't get is that everyone will spend 300 bucks on the next new release of their favorite car but when it come to embrasing a new technology that might actually save you money forget it?

Go figure!

alot of people already have what they need to run carpet and switching to lipos meas buying new batteries and new chargers and lipo balancers. alot of people dont want to spend all that money when they already have what they need. I've been running the same stuff for 2 years now. Personally i couldnt care less if you ran lipo's but these threads are getting old.

Running my packs and motors from last year. Don't get much cheaper than that--in fact the only way I can save money over that is if you buy 'em all from me and let me use 'em rent free.

I did turn comms and re-brush in the off-season though...

See ya'll in Minot!

Bill was just asking a simple? Not trying to start anything!!!!!!!!

Look at what Hobby PLEX is running for classes! It's not a ? of what is more expensive. Bill just wants to buy one brushless motor and one battery! Simple Right?

Are you running BL in stock or not?

Can you run a lipo pack or not?

Will there be a Mod class? If so, can you run Lipo?

Simple ? should get a simple answer?

I'll bet between your dad and Mitch they could easly supply the batteries to run a new full size electric car! From here too Detroit and back! One on charge! Just joking here! )

Let just keep this simple! What are you guy allowing? With the race in Dec coming up, we all would like to know what we can use? Like I said I have sold all of my batteries and need new ones. Just want to know which packs to waist my money on. I already have the BL.

Received my entry form in the mail, as did Rick. Thanks NMR!!

Saw that entrants are limited to 2 classes and was curious as the the reasoning behind that. As it is I'd probably only run 2 classes anyway, but was curious nonetheless.

Looking forward to December!!
