I'm looking to start running off-road at MMR and am wanting to get some tire advice. I have an SC-10 and currently have Proline Holeshots and J concepts Double dee's. Just wondering how those would work or if I should go for some mini pins.

Not sure about the tires you have but I can say that Schumacher mini pins are like glue, almost to the point of having too much traction. It's a good challenge to have.

Guys have had luck with SC10 stock tires in front, and Schuey Mini-Spikes in the rear. Going Schuey front and rear can be overly aggressive.

Schuey front and rear mini spikes FTW! cut two rows of outside and one row of inside pins, and also ca glue the outside wall on the front tires.

Yellow compound mini pins all around with the front outside row cut. It's very aggressive and can be a lot to manage, but it will be hooked up (some would say maybe too hooked up). No matter what I would buy some kind of schueys, they are purpose made for the track.

Thank you for the advice on tires. I'm looking forward to running next week. Unfortunately since I just bought hole shots for running in the dirt my first race will be on what I have, but now I know what to buy after the next payday.
