Default looking for race tracks in ND

hey guys im new to the area and Im new to the 1/8 scale off road buggy scene. A little about me Im in the Air force and I was stationed in Belgium for the last 5 years. I got into racing overthere but we were running 1/5 scale FG cars i have only ever used nitro cars for fun and bashing. So I want to get into some racing and i would like to find out where there are some tracks. Im stationed at Grand Forks AFB and im willing to drive just let me know where they are thanks.

Thumbs up

Hello as well from the Northern Mini Racers , We race 1/12th stock on carpet during the winter months in Sawyer ND at the city hall. We kind of alternate week ends with the Pingree track so we can race at both places and help support each other. Sawyer is 15 minutes se of Minot on hwy 52. WE are also having our big two day event in Minot on Dec 16-17, go to the Northern Mini Racers thread under Minnesota,North and South Dakota Racing to find out more. This would be a great place to meat pretty much all of the racers in our area.

there is also wheels wings and hobbies in mandan. they have an offroad track and an indoor onroad track with a hobby shop on site. www.wwnh.net, their forum is probably the best place to look for upcoming races in ND

There are 4 tracks which host outdoor races in Steinbach, Winkler, Altona and La Salle.

I did run a FG Maurder and a FG F1 but i sold them to get into 1/8 buggy racing because that is much more common around here.
