Default Hampton MN Rc Racing

I figured starting a thread for this track would be good.

I'll try to keep everyone up on how things are progressing.

I want to open up a contest for track naming.

Winner gets their first two weeks racing/practice free. OK it may not seem like much but better than nothing right ?

Put the track name and your name on a post , and we will vote on it at the first drivers meeting.

Only rules : No recycled names ie former track names. And name must be something we can use for five year old, or forty year old kids.

I'll start out with the simple one!

Hampton Speedway

Hampton Raceway

The Hampton RC Track

There the simple ones are taken!

Bill Neuhauser

p.s. Have you decided on a night of the week?

Tuesdays are best for me.............

HEy mark why not run 1/12 & 1/10 on the same night so those that want to run both can do so and not have to chose between the two

Please don't get to worked up over schedule yet all options are open.

There was a suggestion by a long time racer to do separate 10th and 12th nights because the two don't mix well.

"Hampton Rug" "The Circut at Hampton International Raceway" "Hamptonapolis Motor Speedway" "Hampton Inn" "Straight Outta Hampton" "Hampton's in tha House" Wait.....there is a town called Hampton??

Or how about "Hampton Carpet Outlet" so then you will get huge crowds of people looking to buy carpet on their saturday afternoon that will converge on the track and get to witness the amazing spectical that is R/C car racing, and maybe buy a car and race there instead of purchasing carpet. Because let's face it, carpet isn't as cool as......carpet. I have no idea what I'm talking about anymore. You can spell Tampon H with the letters in Hampton. Sweet. Luvyabye!

I just knew the comics would come outa da closet on this one. But thats what its about lets have fun.

P.S. Come spring I am going to have an outdoor off-road track. The only glitch is it would be electric only. Good news indoor pits and as big as we want it to be.

I think I can pick up carpet Monday of next week. At that point I'm guessing some time later that week if all goes well, I can crack the seal. Lots of mabee there but possible.

If I posted a pic of the site today well lets just not go there. But as a wise man once told me its amazing what a little elbow grease and paint will do.
