Team Losi 1/14 Scale vehicles

1/14th-SCALE Mini 8IGHT-T RTR Truggy

Based on the ROAR-Championship-winning 8IGHT™ buggy, this brushless power 4WD prodigy takes the mini 8IGHT platform to all new extremes. You'll be hard-pressed to find another 1/14-scale truggy on the market with the same enhanced power and impressive electronics that are packed into the Losi® Mini 8IGHT-T™ truggy. With its aluminum chassis, 4WD shaft-driven drivetrain and durable build, this relentless 1/14-scale truggy can thrash across dirt, gravel and asphalt without skipping a beat. To better manage the outrageous power of its brushless power system, the Mini 8IGHT-T utilizes the AVC™ (Active Vehicle Control™) technology system for advanced power management over its impressive 4500KV brushless engine and precision handling. Better still, the Mini 8IGHT-T comes equipped with absolutely everything you need to get started so you can be out experiencing Losi thrills in the time it takes to charge the battery. Experience the thrill of driving the Mini 8IGHT-T today.

1/14th-SCALE 8IGHT RTR 4WD BUGGY

The Losi® Mini 8IGHT™ packs massive power, fluid precision, and a podium ready pedigree into a compact 1/14-scale build that asserts total dominance over the pavement with 4WD and AVC ® (Active Vehicle Control™) technology. Based on the ROAR-National-Championship-winning 8IGHT buggy, this edition of the Mini 8IGHT comes out of the box tuned with the kind of pinpoint accuracy that only a Losi buggy can deliver. Thanks to the combination of a low center of gravity and AVC , harnessing the power of the Mini 8IGHT's 4500KV brushless motor is as easy as gripping and ripping the included Spektrum™ DX2E transmitter. Start asserting total dominance over larger more expensive rigs and go full throttle without regret behind the wheel of the Losi Mini 8IGHT buggy today

There's one word that describes the Losi® Mini 8IGHT-DB™ perfectly: realistic. You'll love its scale looks, which include authentic desert buggy features and cage work with desert buggy body panels. You'll have a blast reaching speeds of 30+ mph on the street, in your backyard and everywhere in between. Everything about this buggy was designed to deliver a jaw-dropping experience, from the powerful 3800Kv motor to the allterrain buggy tires. This is pure Mini 8IGHT adrenaline. Whatever you do, don't be fooled by its size. It's small but packs an extremely wicked punch.

LC Racing / Tacon 1/14 vehicles

NOTE: The LC Racing Versions of these vehicles are also available in Kit Form

RC Tech thread on the vehicle:
http://www.rctech.net/forum/micro-mi...al-thread.html

the LC Racing / Tacon /14 scale vehicles are a great option for the mini class with excellent out of the box performance, cheap parts, and durability. Few tips I recommend:

- Only purchase the brushless versions of these vehicles
- If you SCT body "shatters", buy the clear body, it appears to be made of different material
- The Hot Racing spur gear for the mini-eight fits and offers even more durability
- The SCT version has a longer chassis which adds to stability. Touring car 12mm rims work great on these vehicles, I used USVTA wheels on carpet with great success
- cheap hobbywing programmer (the $10) will program the brushless esc
- Get the steel gear servo they sell, its cheap.

Track looks great and now you have a dedicated thread for the racing action, so how about some rules? Just looking at size of legal batteries, I would assume a 2s lipo battery max, but soft case or hard case, I would assume a lipo bag for charging, how about traction compound?? Tables and chairs provided with electricity as it makes it easier for out of town racers to know what they need to bring and what not to, also plus one on having food at the track, and what about tires, slicks, pins, treaded type, foams.

Cain 11-15-2017 07:52 AM

Thanks! Updates have been made.

Looks great Cain, nice looking track. I'm still trying to resist the urge to buy a mini.

We have a great group of people putting in the effort to get the track going. Everyone who has contributed to the track in some manner deserves big credit. But one in particular in mind and quite a few peoples opinion, Cullen Myhre, has been extremely instrumental in getting the facility and other work he has done for the efforts being made. He is a real asset to the RC community in our area.

As for the minis', man they are a blast! The 1/14 scale vehicles are just a blast to drive. You also get a lot of vehicle for the money we are seeing.

Hope to see you sometime at the track to give it a go. If I make it to the next warren race, which I should, I'll bring some for you to take a spin with. Heck maybe enough of us make it up to have a class of them!
