We had a great time Saturday with the "Wall" gang! Tom Lane and Scooby kept the fun going all day! We had a good turnout and met some new racers. Alan and Marshon bumped up from the B-main in E- buggy. Alan ran away with the race with Marshon second. Something happened to Marshon's car at 7:30 minutes but luckily he had enough distance on the rest of the field to remain in second and bump up. Good race for him considering he was in 7th on lap one! Tim ran a good race and was in third from lap 3. His car went out at 6:27 but if not, he could have possibly taken second had Marshon gone out a little earlier. As I say all the time, " it's not over 'till it's over." I think this may be Tim's year. He's looking good so far. Scooby checked out early in A1 E-buggy on his way to victory leaving second up for grabs. Props to Carmel who was 8th on lap one and quickly made it to third to battle Carl who had been running second. Sean was also in second for several laps as was Tom. Carl, Tom, and Alan all ended up finishing close together in the end. This was one if the best races. Carmel couldn't stay for A2 but Scooby ran away with this one too, except for lap 3 where Carl was in the lead. Sean and Carl ended up just 4 seconds apart at the finish. Jeremy and Alan had their own battle going on finishing 10 seconds apart. When you have several pairs of battles going on for 10 minutes it's pretty cool. Jared is usually the one to beat in Short Course but Sean gave him some stiff competition . Sean took the A1 win with Jared taking A2. Close racing in both. Scooby kicked butt in 1/10th buggy in both mains with Carl and Caruso near the top. We had two heats of E-Truggy! They were combined into one main. Sean turned the only 15 lap run in qualifying to take the top starting spot. Sean fell back at the start of A1 but recovered quickly to get the win. In A2 he went wire to wire for the win. Kevin was leading the first main when he went out. Well, these are my highlights. Justin and Jared deserve a medal for helping marshal for those hectic mains. You guys are awesome! Thanks to everyone who came out! You all did a great job! Good to meet Katie who raced and marshaled well! You go girl! Hope to see some more fast paced racing this Sat.! Who knows what surprises Ron has in mind for the track! More Boorman Bumps? Are ya scared? 😎

Sorry everyone, but today's races are cancelled. We had rain this morning and it's raining now. More on the way. It's hot, humid and wet. Not a good racing environment. We'll let you know if there's a chance of running Sunday. Thanks everyone! Appreciate your patience! Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
The shop will be open today 12-7 p.m.

Just got the word. We ARE racing tomorrow, Sunday! It should be a beautiful day for racing. We had a lot of rain, but it's sunny here and Ron is working hard drying the track. There was no other damage. We hope to see everyone tomorrow, regular starting time! Don't forget Jamar market is closed tomorrow so bring food or order out.

Thanks everyone!
