Looking to join up with you guys in a couple of months (still getting my stuff!) for some 1/12 on road action.

Questions....

What type of transponder for scoring/timing do I need?

I'll be running the AE RC12R5.2 with a Reedy Sonic M3 17.5 Spec (#254) motor. Advice on spur/pinion and tires would be appreciated.

Starting February we will be running 12th 17.5T on spec WGT tires (purple stripe).

Gearing - I run around a 100mm rollout in 17.5T.

I've been getting most of my stuff from TQ. They list the RC4 (out of stock right now) and the RC4Hybrid transponders... does it matter which I get?

Any advice on tires and FDR for 17.5 TC class (TC6.2) for your track?

I'd start at 3.7 and go from there. Also depends on motor and timing. Sorex 28, maybe 32 if traction is high. Also depends if they put down the new CRC carpet yet.
