Interesting class idea. Step up for not a lot of investment.
Call it:
East Coast GT --- ECGT.
Oladele GT --- OGT.

O - u should follow an existing class rule set... Like usgt. Don't reinvent the wheel...

Or u could make a 21.5 or 25.5 tc class..... Since we all agree 17.5 is too fast for most.

I would loke for the racers to come up with the name.

rules are;
1) 21.5 motor
2) Any treaded tire
3) Any non TC body
4) Blinky
instead of any threaded tire just setup a gt spec class.

I think a 21.5 TC class can work or USGT

I want to keep it light, fun and cost down for those that run in it. I just want to give a area for those not ready to step up to 17.5 tc a class where they can have fun.

I would run if this class if we had enough guys. What would the min weight be? Also whats a popular threaded tire? Never really looked into them.

I was just about to bring that up Pete. If only FWD touring cars were more popular. That would be a great class for the mid pack guys.

Gravity RC has a good treaded tire. In fact, it's what we are using for USGT at Stock Wars in October.

I'm a newbe just finished my first season of usvta and I'm hooked. I would love to join a 21.5 crowd running my new protoform Cadillac ATS-VR body which fits into the USGT class. Can I use the same ESC as I used for VTA? Its the Novak edge ESC. Not sure what "blinky" means.

You can run that esc. Blinky just means non boosted/turbo or advanced timing speed controllers.

That's a great looking body, When i traveled down to Johns mobile raceway this past summer they had a 21.5 usgt class, it looked fun, and the cars looked great out on the track.
