Here is the schedule for the late summer early fall season at RC Pro!
8/8/15 Club Race
8/22/15 Specialty Race ( $$
$$)
8/29/15 Track Maintenance/ Practice
9/5/15 State Warm Up Race
9/12/15 Track Maintenance
9/19/15 ROAR STATE 1/8 SCALE
If you notice the dates, these are all on Saturday. Roger and Tammy will be in the store, and I will be running the booth. If you know me, You know I run a smooth, relaxing, worry free program. No BS.
For all those not able to go to the Tiltyard, we will be having a club race on the 8th. This will include any and all classes 1/8 to 1/10 scale, electric and nitro. You bring a car, we will get you in a race.
On 8/29 we will be moving some pipe around and resurfacing some of the jump faces and corners. Come out and help, bring your stuff and get some free practice.
9/5 ROAR Warm Up race will be the only time you get to practice on the newish layout before the state race. Need to make those minor tweeks on your car under race conditions.... Here is your chance.
9/12 will be strictly track maintenance if it needs it. Pipe work, dirt work, nothing major to get it ready for the state race the following weekend.
9/19 ROAR VA State Champs. Who's the best in VA.... Lets find out. 1/8 scale nitro and electric, Young guns and 4x4 SC. Its going to be a good one.
Signups will end at 10:30am. Drivers meeting will be at 10:45am and the first heat will be on the track at 11:00am.
Practice will start as soon as the sun is up BUT NO NITRO BEFORE 8AM please. If you are going to be late, call ahead so we can get you in.
Race Day Format
3 Heat races, 6 minutes long (reshuffle after round 1 only)
Double A mains for electric, 10 minutes
Nitro mains, 20 minutes
I will provide you with sufficient time during the day and before the mains. Lets get out here and have some fun. Its getting to the end of the season, and people are starting to get the itch again. Here is your chance to scratch it!

Just incase you guys didn't know....
RC Pro will be closed Sunday thru Tuesday so no running this weekend. It will open back up on Wednesday the 5th.
Saturday August 8th is a Club day. Any and all cars are welcomed. I may even have my 1/10 4wd up and running so lets get out there. So far the weather looks good. Partly cloudy and in the mid 80's. Ill keep an eye on it.

Wish I could, I've traveled 5 weekend's in a row and I'm burned out and need the time with the family. I'm not 100% sure about the special race , August is too hot to be running from the drivers stand to marshal yourself as much as I crash in the furthest spot from the stand. I'm planning on being there for the track work on the 29th though.

Marshaling your own car, don't think we will be doing that. We would have rescue squad on stand by for that one.
