Bumps and Jumps 2014-2015 Season
Its getting that time of year again for some indoor offroad racing. We will be running the practice on Tues and Wed from 4 til 9. Sunday is racing with doors opening at 10am and racing starting at 12pm.
Bumps and Jumps R/C Website: BumpsandJumpsrc.com
643 Old York Rd.
Etters, Pa 17319
717-932-300
The website has a calendar that you can check out that lists all the races and practices at our track for both the dirt oval and offroad.
We have plenty of pit space and electric. Just bring your racing stuff and your good to go. We have plenty of space for R/C Trailers and RV's. Where the only track that has the track totally separated from the pits so you never have to eat dust all day. If your hungry we have one of the only full state approved kitchens at an R/C track. The food is killer and I know many are just waiting to get some cheese steak fries!!!!!!!!
Classes are:
2wd Mod Buggy
2wd 17.5 Buggy
4wd Mod Buggy
2wd Mod SCT
4wd Mod SCT
Spec Slash
Novice
We are happy to announce that racing is still only $15 for the first class and $12 for the second class.
Track is smooth clay with the wooden jumps (Give it a try as I see many outdoor track and indoors tracks are starting to do this). Very consistent every run and allows frequent layout changes while still having a smooth clay surface each week.
If we have 12 heats or less we will run 3 rounds and the mains (No Bump Ups)
If we have 13 heats or more will run 2 rounds with 2 car bump ups. We run 5 minute heats with 10 minute A mains. Normal racing on Sundays where done by 6 to 7.
Tire wise here at Bumps pretty much all clay compounds from all companies work. We will allow the newest 2.4 style tires that are now coming out. NO SLICKS!!!!!!!
Racing starts on the offroad in October 26th. See everyone soon.

Yeah we just don't get enough of them. It started off ok and dropped. One that did come around and have a strong season was 4x4 buggy. We where pleasantly surprised how well that class did and hope along with the other classes will be strong again this year.

It is great to see a facility that has the support to be able to run practice nights.
Keep up the great work.

Thank you. Chris tries very hard to keep it fun and give us the racers a great place to have that fun. Most places around us charge more to race but Chris's moto is more like keep the pricing reasonable so more people will be able to afford racing or at least practice. He really does love having the racers at Bumps and Jumps.
