ROFL that's what I was thinking too hahahaha.

One thing that will definitely sway me here over other tracks is if there is a novice class for the kids... I know my little girl talks about racing there every time I get to see her. I really like how we also had designated practice time for them too. THAT was awesome. Made them feel like they were the center of attention and they didn't have to worry about getting run over.

Oh, just one thing, Tom Lane, you aren't allowed to run in the novice class

I say run whichever class you enjoy the most. If you go 2wd buggy I don't know what motor to tell you because I've never ran that class before. If I was going to take a guess I would say at least an 8.5 turn if going mod. Maybe someone more familiar with the class can chime in.

I personally run the 4wd short course class. Last year this was the largest class by far. some weeks last year there were 4 heats of them alone.

As far a what days the track is open, i'm not sure this has been set yet but last year there was practice Wednesday, and Friday with raceday being on Sunday.

I'm not the track owner so I would just keep watching this thread to see whats going to set as far the practice and racedays.

most of us ran 8.5 in 2wd. Not sure if anyone went bigger after Clay went in. Boosted 13.5 will work well there too.

I honestly wouldn't base your decisions on motor on what we did though because we still don't know how they will change the track. It could be wide open, or it could be super tight. I know 8.5 will do pretty much anything you need though

although 2wd classes will force you to learn how to drive offroad, 4wd is probably the easiest to learn. short course or 1/8 buggy are two VERY durable/reliable options. if you want to save a little money, go with a short course truck like the losi scte rtr setup, and you will have tons of fun wherever you go!!!

as big of a 2wd buggy guy as I am, you can't go wrong with a Losi RTR 4wd short course. They have good electronics and its built like a tank. Plus you will be able to run it all year round on all the other tracks.

Hey Scoot, I think all the classes are fun, enjoyable and competitive. I personally like 4wd shortcourse. 4wd is a little easier because it gives you more control in regards to which rc to buy 2wd buggy i would go with Losi 22, 2wd sc I would go with team.associaited sc10 but the losi 22sct looks promising and for 4wd sc i would go with Losi scte. Depending on your budget they all come in rtr versions.. hope that helps.
