Tacon ranger...Better bodies
First run with my ranger I flipped it to its lid and the damn body shattered around the rear body mounts. The stock body is apparently very brittle. Are the phat bodies lids and tougher? Or any other recomendations?

all of the RTR Tacon cars come with PVC bodies, which are cheap and brittle, I've written NitroRCX and asked them why they don't just sell the cars with clear PC (poly carbonate/lexan) the cost is the same, yea you would have to paint them, but you wouldn't have to replace the bodies after just a couple of battery packs, the replacement PC bodies for the Ranger from RCX is part# 25p-L6054, much better that the stock bodies, at least the SCT truck bodies are !!

I have posted a couple of times on their "support page" about the cheap PVC bodies and had no response directly about the bodies, have been dealing with Ben@lc racing about becoming a distributor for their products, but with an new position I took, I don't have the time to concentrate on a new business, but LC Racing is looking to get more distributors here in the USA, hopefully there will be more companies to deal with for parts and support other than Nitrorcx

Yeah, nitro is kinda shady selling parts from questionable sources as new. If it's not packaged, it's not new...sorry!

Tech Regular
the replacement clear body from LC is MUCH MUCH stronger. my original body lasted one race..the replacement clear body is still going strong after a season and a half of racing
