SO i got this xmod evo truck last year in my country second hand!






-Haven't touch it with the stock board... but right now i am on the market for a ASF 2.4ghz miniz board....


-BUT i had a laying around Losi Micro board AM 27mhz, so i decided to give it a go, and not spend money on a new board!




-Removed the stock board "junk"


-Opened the servo of the losi board to figure what servo motor cables (2 wires) + (3wires) pots cables are! Those 5wires are the key to wire a xmod servo (2+3) to any miniz/losi board. The insides of the stock servo of losi from the losi board, help to figure what are the 2 servo motor's wires and the 3 pot wires..... :P



-The million dollar photo!


-Removed the On/off by wiring it together. Photo is selfexplanatory!




-It's a Losi!!!!

-Grab a new one and solder on the right spot!




-Changed the plastic knuckles on rear for alloy ones. TO much play with plastic ones! As we know!


-Driving it on track i notice that chassis was to high!! So:


-Suspension towers to lower the chassis! Much better handling!

For now, that's it! :P

Nah, man!

Now only second hand...and even the aftermarket parts now are rare.
What is a shame cause xmods is one of the best platform to evolve....
Cheap stock form, with plenty of stock upgrades...
Then a vastly aftermarket behind it...
And very customable and very easy to mod to anyone likes...

They are RIP...but some voodoo dolls still make them work

Radioshack killed it by releasing the 1/24 "JOKE". No one wanted that "fezes".

And the days are diferent...nowday teenager kids want tablet's and smartphones rather then puzzle into legos or something that needs thinking....they all want everything into one package with all the work done.....

And we entusiasth's take the table, cause xmods where made for kids and not grown man skilled enough to mod them to death!

I have some old xmods. Loved them back in the day! Then I got into Mini Zs. If you want I could let a few of my xmods go. Got a few gen1s but mostly evo chassis. Ill try to get some pics on here.

Cool build haven't messed with xmods in a long while. Speaking of...how much would you guys say a stock gen1, awd/bearing/motor/fet/carbon fiber gen1, and a awd/bearing/fet/motor gen2 be worth as a bundle? have a bunch of parts and stuff, bodies in good condition red cobra r and r34 gtr gen1's, bumblebee camaro gen2

Do you have the evo car chassis or only the body?

I want a complete car (evo car) with that body with front clip. If you have one i might have interest. Just carefull with the price and the shipping to me...i know how that things work!

It's the whole car, some scratches on it though. I'll get some pictures up later tonight, and yeah shipping from US to EU can be a pain. Either way, sharing info is still fun
