Hello!

I just brought a HK35A Sensored/Sensorless Car ESC for my losi 8ight mini, to upgrade from the Losi ESC.

I also brought a Turnigy GTX3 which I am happy with!

Now I've read the manual from Hobbyking / trolled Youtube and google and for the life of me I can't program this ESC to work in my losi 8ight mini.

I followed these instructions: (from YouTube, but better than the manual)
FIRSTLY: Hold the "SET" Key while Turning on the ESC Switch from "off" to "on"
SECONDLY: Turn on your controller and set the THROTTLE TRIM To 100% or full
THIRDLY: Press the "set" key ONCE and a single beep will occur while leaving controller at NEUTRAL
FOURTHLY: Pull the Trigger fully to the position of FORWARD THEN Press "set" key while holding it and 2 beeps occur. once 2 beeps are done go back to NEUTRAL POSITION
LASTLY: Push the Trigger away To BACKWARD and make sure to push the trigger is pushed whilst pressing the set key... Once its all done beeping.. RESTART ESC..)

I can hit the red program mode, but I can't seem to get it all working.
At one point I had it going forwards and backwards, but the forwards was so brutal it would of snapped something. I have configured it on low acceleration with the program card.

If anyone can help me on a config sequence that would be great, I contacted HK customer service and that was like a circus.

From what I read channel 2 (throttle/brake) should be set to REV on the Turnigy GTX3, I also can only get the program (red lights) on the ESC by putting the trim the back MAX (30)

Never mind all sorted!

SWITCH OFF ESC PRESS SET TURN ON ESC.
THEN RELEASE AFTER SOLID ORANGE LIGHT
PRESS FULL THROTTLE - WILL ENTER PROGRAM MODE AND SET TO FORWARD POSITION.

RELEASE ONCE RED LIGHT SOLID

THEN FULL BRAKE THROTTLE, RELEASE ONCE RED SOLID

THEN KEEP IN NEUTRAL POSITION RED LIGHT WILL OCCUR WITH 3 BEEPS.

ALL DONE

MY CAR WAS SET IN FORWARD W/O REVERSE! USER ERRORS OF COURSE LOL
