Default Tacon thriller 1/14th?

Literally just bought one of these guys based off of all the reviews being good. Somewhat excited. Does anyone have one of these? And if so, any tips, upgrades I should do right away?

I have one and it's awesome. Only advise I can give u is to get a lot of spindle sets because they break really fast I've gone thru like 4 spindles already. And get front CVD's

I already got a spindle set with it. Gonna upgrade to the aluminum ones when they get back in stock. What about tires and wheels? Do you know if anything else will fit?

My tips:
#1. Google - if you do a search you will find tons of info on the Tacon vehicles.
#2. Order spindles because the stock ones break for most everybody, but the spares are a different design. Hopefully Tacon changed all of them by now.
#3. Get a couple of LiPos and a good charger if you don't already have one.
#4. Order a bunch of spare parts at a time to save on the outrageous shipping costs.

+1 on the spindles!!! Friend has one and it's pretty nice!!!! If you go to the Losi Mini 8 Truggy thread 1st post has a link to Pro-line on how to cut/mount full-size tires/foams on smaller wheels, that's probably gonna be your best bet to get actual clay tires on a thriller. Hope this helps!!!

I own 2 Thrillers. Had them for over a year now. Only had to replace 1 broken spindle (right side) but I have 5 sets for back up. I was a bit bummed because it took me over 2 months to get the replacements. Now I need new shells because I have thoroughly thrashed my 2 shells. Anyone considering these trucks should also buy an extra set of turnbuckles and/or turn down the steering dual rate. Because with complete servo extension the inside rims gouge the plastic turnbuckles. I'll post a picture when I get on my pc next week.

I have a truggy and went up to a 35 wt oil and was pleasantly surprised. I run mine at an 1/8th scale clay offroad track and it handles the jumps nicely.
