Come spring i am going to build a Offroad track for the 1/18TH scale racing . I hope to start building before spring so i can have it ready. not sure about what kind of lap counting system to get will have to see what is in my price range.. sorry track never happened.. Home owners insurance would not let it go thru.... Check thunder rc in nashville..

If you charge people to run at your track, it will not be covered under your homeowners. However, if you do it donation style or just let your buddies come over, it will be covered. From what I've learned, it's better not to tell your homeowners insurance company about the track. I got a blanket policy for my track. It was a bit over $500 for the year.
