Default Mini Inferno Brushless Upgrade

Anybody have a good recommendation as to which brushless kit I should look into for the Kyosho Mini Inferno / Half 8? I've seen a couple lipo saddle packs for these cars, is there a particular battery I should go for? Thanks

I've decided to go with the Novak Three-80 10.5T w/ Mongoose ESC. I still haven't figured out what I will get as far as batteries go, but I will when I pull the trigger on the motor... it wont be long.

Will that fit your car? Those batteries are meant for 1/10th cars.

The MI design is somewhat old. Based around ni-cds.

I would buy 2 of these and using a Y-wire: http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-4V-3000MAH...ht_1686wt_1163

You're right, I missed that all together... oops. Sucks too because I had an "F-it moment" and bought one without double checking the fit... guess I'll be selling it if I can't make it work somehow.

If I parallel them with a "Y" that would effectively drop the mAh to 1500, wouldn't it? I think I might be better off with one of these http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...Saddle&cat=153. I'm not sure... I appreciate you guys input on this.

The best is surely the original Team Orion Vortex Sets, Team Orion is part of the Kyosho Group, there are two on offer
A 4200kv set
Vortex Combo MI4200 KV 25A with ESC ORI66047
and a 5300kv set:
Vortex Combo MI5300 KV 25A with ESC ORI66048

There was a 7500kv Version some time ago but I cannot find it anywhere to buy, maybe someone knows where to get it?
